Kellogg, of Corn Flakes fame, was a leading light in a movement among Doctors both sides of the Atlantic, in Victorian times, to attribute many health problems to masturbation. There was also a “moral” drive behind this too. Other Doctors discredited this theory. When the UK’s National Health Service was started in the late 1940s routine circumcision was not adopted. In the USA no such reality check happened and as a result more men than not are still MGM victims.
